Simply send us your photo. We take your color image and convert it to a black and white paint by numbers project. We send you the pre-printed canvas, brushes, and the coded acrylic paint you need to make your own BLACK AND WHITE masterpiece. It doesn't get any easier than that. What a fun way to spend family time, or to create a really thoughful gift, or to give the project as a gift. Hand-made items carry so many more memories and carry so much emotion for years down the road. And, it's so much fun! Literally anyone can do it. Create your own masterpiece from an old family photo, your favorite pet photo, a photo of your house, or a place you visited, sports arenas, favorite athletes, etc. As long as you can obtain the image large enough, we can convert it into a fantastic project that you will enjoy sharing with everyone!
File upload tips: Please send full, high-resolution images. Phone screenshots, and downloaded thumbnails will NOT be sufficient and will delay the order of your project. Make sure your image is at least 1500 pixels wide on the smallest side - the larger the better!
If you are planning on doing a portrait of a person, You should choose 36 or 48 colors and you should choose the largest project you are comfortable with. This will allow our system the best opportunity to create the greatest details on your image and make it as life-like as possible. Black and white projects usually work pretty well with 36 color option.
Sizes range from 12x12 inches (30x30 cm) up to 32x48 inches (80x120 cm). Several rectangular and square options to choose from. Sizes up to, and including, 24x24 inches (60x60 cm) can be ordered with a DIY stretcher frame complete with tacks to stretch your canvas and prepare for hanging.
Please let us know if you have any special instructions. Unless instructed otherwise, we will crop and center your subject to fit the canvas best. This will include determining if your file is intended for lanscape or portrait orientation. This may also mean features important to you may get cropped out if we are not told otherwise. The more zoomed in on your subject the image is, the better your results will be.
